At Finalyz we like to treat our customers in exactly the same way we like to be treated ourselves. Our toes curl at the sight of small print, but it appears that not only to add to our creditability but to comply with legislation we are required to offer you our own 'large print' version. You should note that your statutory rights under the current consumer protection laws are not affected (more probably enhanced). We run this website as a service to our customers. By using it, you are agreeing to the Terms and Conditions of Use. We’ll try to stay away from the legal jargon and keep this as simple as possible. Data & Privacy

All the information collected from you will be stored in our database and is used purely to carry out your instructions and action your payment. There are no circumstances under which this information will be passed to a third party. Personal detail such as IDs and passwords, are collected to verify your identity and for use as account numbers in our database. Your contact information may also be used to contact you when necessary for customer service reasons. We will not contact you unless you give us permission.

 

Security

Finalyz uses a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. Credit card numbers are not stored by us but by MNet Safeshop who acts as our Payment Gateway. All personal information collected by us is stored in a Finalyz database. You are personally responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login ID and password on registration.

 

Services and Supply

We sell certain services as described in detail on our website. All these services are governed by the appropriate South African law and are therefore only appropriate for those who consider themselves to be South African residents. You must realize that you’re buying professional services which require a certain level of skill. We make use of the services of professionals like accountants, lawyers etc. to be of assistance. If at any stage before, during or after buying one of our services you feel you need advice or support, you should contact us. We will assist you as best as we can. If at any time however we think you rather need a personal consultation with a professional, we will let you know accordingly. In most cases you will get to see an example of the service you’re buying before you enter the buying process. After completing the process, you will be required to pay at which point the service will be delivered to you immediately (eg you can print the Will you just bought).

 

Contact

We will only contact you on your request and in the manner you requested (eg by phone or email). Our preferred method of communication is per e-mail.

Delivery: Delivery of our services in most cases takes place immediately in the comfort of your own home or office (e.g. hit the print button and print your Will). Where we get instructions or requests from you or we you need further advice, we will deliver that service to you within a “reasonable” time by way of email. Our aim is to respond to all queries within 8 hours during normal business hours.

Guarantee: We feel confident that you get value for money through buying our online services. In most cases you will get to view an example of what you’re buying before you enter the buying process. At all times you’re welcome to contact us for free additional advice and support should it be required.

 

Refunds

Because we’re selling services, we don’t have “refunds” as such. However, we will always try and keep the customer happy. We give free advice and support in order for you to get the quality service you deserve. If you’re still not satisfied, we will refund you without further questions. We only accept credit card payments, so all refunds will be to the appropriate Credit Card Company. In the end we’re only interested in one thing and that is for the customer to be happy.

 

Payment

Although our customers offer payment at the time of placing their order, it is our policy to only action Credit Cards the following business day. All online payments take place by credit card through First National Bank (commercial bank) and Mnet Safeshop (Payment Gateway) which ensure a totally secure (BS7799 - Code of Practice for Information Security Management) environment.

 

VAT

In terms of South African Tax Law, we charge VAT which is included in the price of the service you’re buying.

 

Complaints

------------------

 

We take complaints very seriously and will contact you as soon as practically possible. Our aim is to respond to all queries within 8 hours during normal business hours.

 

Law and Jurisdiction

Any contract for your purchase from Finalyz is governed by and has to be interpreted under the Laws of the Republic of South Africa and you agree that such contract will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
